You guys, we have a serious problem.
I just got my July Stitch Fix box and Ashley, my stylist, keeps hitting it out of the park! I am going to be so broke soon. Every box has been great, and this one was no exception.
First of all she sent me yet another amazing dress.
I love love love this dress. I was so excited to get another maxi because before last month's box I did not think I could wear them. Just goes to show you, it is all about fit. This dress is that perfect blend of stylish and comfort that will be great for running around the classroom. I love the look of the bold print and the neutral top means I can pair it with cardigans to pull it into my fall wardrobe. I did put a cami underneath. It's not entirely necessary, but I felt that without one it emphasizes my chest too much for school.
Ashley has obviously figured out that I love my prints. This top is full of fun colors and patterning. The cut is a little big, so I am returning it, but I really like the idea behind it.
This was another really fun top. When I pulled it out of the box I was not the biggest fan, but it was a great example of why you should try everything on, even if you don't think it will work. This shirt is going back, but not because I did not like it. It was just too thin and delicate for work, and I'm all about my multipurpose items these days.
Now you know I kept this top. The neckline is just so flattering, as is the drape of the fabric. It is a little more open at the armholes than I am comfortable with, so I will be wearing a cami under this one as well (Basically since we started work this week I have thrown one under everything I own, just to be safe). I also love that it is a little longer than my hips, so it covers the waistline of any pants or skirts I wear with it.
My absolute favorite item is actually not one I am keeping. The fifth piece in my box were Kut From The Kloth Brayden Cargo Skinny Pants (shown in the photos above). They fit like a dream and look so cute, but I just can't wear them to work. The pants are a little too form fitting and cargo is unfortunately not business casual in this case. I will be needing a pair of jeans for dress down days, so I'll be asking Ashley to send me more options in the coming months.
I don't know how every one else's boxes have priced out, but it seems mine fall into two pieces or everything. Unfortunately we just don't have the finances for me to keep it all this month. If you have not tried it out, I definitely recommend the service. You can find my previous reviews here and here.
Are you a Stitch Fix fan? What pieces are you excited about wearing this month?
